About Us

Prior to opening his private practice in Naples Dr. Temkin was a psychiatrist in New York City where he completed his training in psychiatry and worked in various outpatient settings, gaining valuable professional experience. To further his knowledge and stay abreast of the most current treatments in psychiatry he participates in a variety of continuing medical education activities.

Dr. Temkin has vast experience treating a broad range of psychiatric disorders including Adult Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder and Schizoaffective Disorder. ADD and ADHD are of particular interest to him.

Dr. Temkin believes in total confidentially of psychiatric records. He does not participate with any insurance and does not utilize EMR (electronic medical records). Therefore, no third party has access to his patients’ records unless authorized in writing by the patient.

Dr. Temkin believes in personalized care. He is a solo practitioner which allows him to provide individualized care.
